Oh my goodness. This little boy is just too much. I have to admit when David told me we were going to photograph an 8 week old, I was slightly nervous. I didn't know if we would be able to get any typical newborn shots since he was not in the sleepy newborn stage anymore. Hunter was so happy and cooperative the whole session. What a precious little gift he is to his parents. It was obvious how in love they are with him.
I grew up with two sisters and a brother who all happen to be among my favorite people, closest friends, and role-models. We always try to reminisce, remembering what it was like growing up with a big family. It only took thirty minutes with the Thoennes family to remember exactly what it was like. Busy. FUN. Playful (all the time). Tickling. Kidding. 24/7 Captive Audience. F.U.N. I feel like the Lord looks at families like the Thoennesses and laughs, giggles, tickles, gives squishy hugs (quoting Emery), and is right there in the mix. Taking their photos made me happy.
