These photos make my heart so happy. We took a trip with David's family this summer to California and Oregon to celebrate great Uncle Elmo, who turned 100 this year. We braved San Fran with a three-year-old and one-year-old, and then drove up highway 101 to Oregon. Although I had moments of doubt, we toughed it out and were so proud of our kids. We had an amazing time and made some memories we will cherish forever. Emery loved the beach, bon fires, and s'mores. Luke loved getting dirty in the sand - what else could a boy ask for? I love these two with all my heart.
